Our Key Treatments

Botulinum Toxin

Used cosmetically to relax muscles of facial expression, thereby softening overlying expression lines or wrinkles. It is FDA approved for the treatment of frown lines, crow’s feet and horizontal forehead lines as it is a safe, effective, fast and relatively painless treatment.

Filler is used to replace lost volume on the face, most notably the nasolabial folds, perioral lines, the cheeks and temples.

Once injected, filler binds to water in the skin and stimulates the production of collagen, thereby plumping the skin and restoring a more youthful appearance.

CFT: Combined Facial Treatment

Firstly, the superficial peel or “lunchtime peel” brightens and freshens the skin, improves pore size and pigmentation and helps soften fine lines. After the 3-5 minute peel, a cooling laser gel is applied followed by IPL (intense pulsed light) - a laser that treats unwanted colours in the skin such as red veins and pigment.

FRAXEL laser

Fraxel is a fractionated re-surfacing laser that causes hundreds of controlled microscopic and pinpoint thermal injuries to the skin.

This injury kick starts a skin repair mechanism, thereby stimulating the production of collagen and elastin and the elimination of superficial skin pigmentation. Overall, it improves skin texture, tone and radiance.

An injectable Hyaluronic acid that stimulates the production of collagen and elastin while significantly improving skin tissue quality and hydration.

This is a more natural product than traditional hyaluronic acid fillers as there are no chemicals added to stabilise the product.

Ultherapy or Ulthera is the first and only non-invasive, non-surgical FDA approved lifting and tightening device. It delivers a micro focused ultrasound to the deep layers of the skin causing a contraction without disrupting the skins surface resulting in skin tightening especially along the jaw line, jowls and brow area.

Involves multiple superficial skin injections of a cocktail of vitamins, minerals, co enzymes and amino acids, all of which are essential for optimal skin health.

The skin cocktail we use at the Dr Mulrooney clinic is manufactured by the French company FILOGRA, which is the world leader in mesotherapy products.

PRP involves taking a small vial of blood from a patients arm, spinning the blood in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from the golden coloured platlet rich plasma. The nutrient rich, platlet rich plasma is then reinjected back into the skin on the face, neck or hands to stimulate new collagen, improve fine lines wrinkles and clarity of the skin.
